From early on, therapists and researchers such as DW Winnicott, John Bowlby, Francis Mott, Frank Lake and others recognized the shaping influence of the earliest stages of our life. The therapeutic model of the psychoanalysis predominating at that time was however only concerned with the time starting from the birth. Only over the last 40 years the pioneers like William Emmerson, Franklyn Sills, Ray Castellino have started to extpand the view and included the prenatal life.
Researchers and therapists from similar and related areas underlined the meaning of this work, among them Michel Odent, Daniel Siegel, Daniel Stern, David Chamberlain, Alessandra Piontelli.
