The spiral always is in motion, and then it stands also for central and infinite movement. In humans the spiral is not only detected in the cell core, where the DNA rests.

Many structures of the cardiovascular system show spiral tendencies. Thus the spiral structure of the heart muscle of the adult witnesses the multifaceted creation process of the embryonic time. Further examples are the spiral structure of the hearing nerve or the naval vessels.
