Mode of action
Craniosacral therapy is a body work, with which the practitioner meets the personality of the client with the highest possible care, attentiveness and ethical neutrality. The practioner supports the client with subtle impulses, which introduce a self-adjustment of the body on their way to self-healing. Health in the human being will be supported and resources strengthened in order to have positive changes take place.
Approach
The two poles - cranium and sacrum - form an unit with the brain and the spinal cord membranes, in which the liquor pulsates rhythmically. This rhythm passes to the entire body and affects the development and efficiency of the entire human being. Changes in this system give the necessary clues for the therapeutic work with the anatomical and energetic structures concerned.
The craniosacral biodynamics is characterized by a very holistic view of the human energy system. The term „biodynamics“ refers to the breath of life as a source, which develops from „stillness“, and which shapes and moves the human energy field over three tidal-like rhythms. Through inclusion of embryological knowledge, visceral body work, through understanding of process and trauma work, as well as through an observant internal attitude and by the ability of „listening“, a deep quality of the therapeutic access results.
